 THURSDAY

DIY MEDIAN SIGNS Put “DIY this weekend” signs and the DIY signs with an arrow in the median of Woodward, between WAB and perhaps Imperial. Put them out in clusters. Make sure they are facing traffic (sounds obvious) They are most useful in the turnarounds, where people have a better chance of being able to read them. use the arrow signs, changing which way the arrow points, to make them point to DIY (again, sounds obvious).

FENCING

  • Place, locking together, bike rack fencing along the south end of the Falvey Lot, from where the brick wall ends, all the way down and wrapping around the tree by Sneakers.

  • Put enough fence pieces to cross two times from the wab to the emory at Woodward. We will use one row of it after the stage is up to fence in the event from people walking along Woodward, and the other half to create a barrier in front of the stage.

  • Bring 8 sections of fencing to create two fences that run between the trash compactor and the law office. I usually make two and have a “no mans land” in between them. I watched a lot of world war 2 escape movies as a kid.

  • Bring 3 sections and place them by the trash compactor on the alley side. Don’t block any doors or entrance to the compactor. Friday we will use these to throttle down the entry/exit that will be there in the alley.

  • Chris will use the forklift to bring sections of fencing to E Nine Mile and by the Library. We can possibly start to place these Thursday, later in the day.
